DISTRICT NEWS

QUICK LINKS

Our journey of growth and improvement continues, and we are excited to share this year's district theme! REIMAGINE is our theme for the 2026–2027 school year.

REIMAGINE begins with one simple question:

"What if there's a better way?"

It invites us to look at challenges with fresh eyes, remain open to new ideas, and continually ask,

"What if we think differently today?"

Inspired by the ideas in Think Again by Adam Grant, this theme encourages all of us to embrace curiosity, challenge assumptions, and never stop learning.

As educators, we are not simply preparing students for the future—we are helping them create it. Whether a student's path leads to college, a career, military service, or entrepreneurship, we want every graduate to leave Walthall County ready to think critically, adapt confidently, and pursue their own destination of greatness.

Throughout this year, our mission remains our foundation:

Teachers Teaching.

Students Learning.

Schools Improving.

Together, let's REIMAGINE what's possible for every learner, every educator, and every member of our WCSD family!
